A group of twenty five people met in front of the King County Juvenile Detention Center for a noise demonstration in solidarity with the action at the gates of San Quentin prison in the San Francisco Bay Area.
Occupiers and anarchists comprised the small group that proceeded to make a lot of noise outside the cell windows of the detention center. Various loud fireworks were thrown at the walls of the prison, a flare was lit for the people inside, the prisoners banged on their windows and the air was filled with the sound of drums and screaming. The police observed the group but stayed away. Various neighbors inquired about what was happening and one father and his daughters watched the entire event from across the street.
The group dispersed after forty minutes without any notable incident. There were no arrests. We are pleased that prison noise demonstrations now take place often throughout the United States. The action at San Quentin hopefully can act as the beginning of a push to completely destroy all of the prisons in this country and beyond.

brick by brick!
I have been locked by the lawless.
Handcuffed by the haters.
Gagged by the greedy.
And, if i know any thing at all,
it's that a wall is just a wall
and nothing more at all.
It can be broken down.
