Looks like your bad attitudes are paying dividends:
http://elcomitewa.wordpress.com/2012/01/
Did somebody claim that El Comite called for/endorsed the General Strike? Is this a response to something specific?
Yeah really not sure what you're getting at. El Comite is basically the Bocanegra promotion organ as I understand it, and he vocally describes it as "not a democracy." This is also old news, so your tense is odd.
"Looks like your bad attitudes are paying dividends"
my kind of anarchist poetics.
You are never wrong. You need no self critique. It is everyone else b/c they are (liberals/reformists/reactionaries/etc.) Come back to the real world please. The denial is killing us.
Godwin, why not just answer my question? It was honest. Nobody here claimed immunity to critique, the link you posted is just confusing, as I never heard/read anyone claim that El Comite endorsed or called for the general strike.
In the real world, not the world that El Comite letter was written in, members of Local 19 got drunk and courted by leaders of two other ILWU locals and then pushed their way to the front of the Labor Hall after the port shutdown, telling women to put a "muzzle" on when they spoke against them. All this "fringe" talk is offensive to people who were there and people who saw how hurt people their comrades were by what happened that day.
Just because you and your so called comrades have tons of time to repeat lies on the internet, doesn't make it so. But, another example of "it was everybody else" and not you. You sound like junkies in your weird rationalizations of why you are always the victim and everyone owes you something. But have you noticed that you are becoming more isolated, sectarian, and smaller in numbers? All of you infighting over esoteric BS, instead of what is happening in the real world? Yup, anarcho-Leninism, true to form.
When your only response to facts and concrete observations that others have made is "That's not the real world" x infinity, it's painfully apparent who's got their heads in the dissociation clouds.... Keep recycling shit from January, tho. Cool story.
I guarantee, you try busting up my place, you won't live.
amateur internet tough guy
Post the address.
next time i'm in issaquah, i'll hit you up.
Isolation? I wish I was more isolated from you. Like, so isolated I wasn't even aware of your existence. Is that too sectarian? As for "anarcho-Leninism," I don't want to lead or control or speak for you. In fact, I don't even want to know you. Not even as an internet persona.
As for time spent on the internet, why do you come here? Someone asked you an honest question (twice) about the confused point you were lazily trying to make by posting a link and what seems to be a riddle, and you can't answer, but you have plenty of time for insults. It seems a bit disingenuous to say "whatevs" while trying so, so hard to troll.
That "groups other than our intended readership" might ever stop by this web site. They're not members of the club and they should go away! It's not like we're trying to grow a movement or anything.
grow a movement? is that like a bowel movement?
some excellent quotes from the mayor & chief of police today:
McGinn singled out "black bloc" protesters for engaging in a lot of the violence, and said he would be issuing an emergency order to take away the weapons they've been using—particularly flag poles, tire irons, and pieces of wood. “When they move rapidly, disperse quickly, and his multiple points, it’s hard to react," McGinn explained.
“The First Amendment uses of five-foot-long, three-inch-wide sticks is outweighed today by our desire to protect public safety and confiscate weapons,"
“We will be asking for the highest charges possible for these individuals," Diaz said of those arrested. “Some of these people think it’s fun and games. It isn’t.”

the Pink Bloc was amazeballs today.
We're unicorns. We'll fuck you up.
"Targeted property destruction..." and these guys chose an American Apparel? I don't understand. Assuming they weren't police plants, what is the logic behind this? The 'Targeted Destruction' article argues in defense of such vandalism for interrupting the "deafening static of our undisrupted, workaday lives." Some people are thankful to have a job and be able to provide for themselves; some people work with people they respect and feel like they're adequately compensated. I really just don't understand the target... American Apparel is one of the few retailers that hasn't buckled to outsourcing and exploiting foreign labor pools at the expense of Americans. So why punish them...? Honestly I sympathize with the left, but this is just poor tactics. I would argue a better tactic would be to circumvent the laws that prevent oppressed groups from thriving. Are anarchists anti-prosperity?
Uhh, I dunno, maybe because it's a homogenizing, anti-union, sexist, racist, classist public corporation that thrives on maintaining quasi-fascist standards of beauty/hipness within its stores, and it's run by a paternalistic, pandering bro who's busy fighting off sexual harassment charges when he's not getting his dick sucked during interviews? Because it thrives on sucking away and commodifying all the originality of urban culture? Because all the first-gen immigrants it so proudly pays $12/hour work in the factory, while white, thin salesfloor employees are hired and fired based on the (pseudo-)"hipness" of themselves and their friends and their loyalty to a brand image? Because in the big scheme of things, it's still a corporation profiting off your -- and its employees' -- loss?
(Also, they do outsource now. They just pay workers in China U.S. minimum wage.)

Jorde, if you think that exploiting people who live in the US instead of those who live outside the US equals prosperity, then yes, I am anti-prosperity.
Your admiration for American Apparel clearly means you're a disgruntled hipster who shops there. Don't worry, we left the Pabst beer and American Spirits alone, there's plenty to hold you over.

I don't get it... way has the Anarchists movement become a bunch of vandals an generally lil thugs. Breaking windows in down town Seattle... WOW... very cool and yes WE want to join you movement. I don't get it aren't you supposed to be helping the little man... Well your actions are doing the opposite... Thanks Ass-wholes!!!... More later....
"ass-wholes." So many ellipses. The promise of "More later".... A+ comedic posting, would read again! Don't keep us waiting, caspian364!
Irony: being an ass-whole for generalizing innocent people as ass-wholes.
Black Bloc is a tactic, not a protest or movement.
Next, go read the "why all the smashy smashy" guide.
Then, punch yourself for your asinine generalizations.
Finally, come to grips with the fact that to charge someone for breaking an inanimate object means that a soda-can crusher and a window-breaker, even a pencil-tip crack-er should be punished to the fullest extent of the law. Unreasonable? Of course. Property damage hurts nothing (perhaps the wallet), and to attatch human emotions and empathy for it is legitimate psychosis. See a doctor. Additionally, the word "thug" is a objective and derogatory generalization to describe a bunch of people you don't even know or understand in a pity attempt to make yourself feel civil, in the same fashion as the Europeans and their attempt to "tame the savages" i.e. Native Americans. Ask a tribal leader how assimilation worked for them. Expect an arrow to the knee. It is not the fault of the anarchists that a good chunk of us have either A) Realized the extent of failure of the system and B) Been made thoroughly pissed off by the apathy of the mainstream or C) Been made downright irate by peace-police protesters and privileged bigots that troll everything they don't understand. Got more? Bring it. I love to chat between toppling governments.
