Northwest Trump Alliance For Change is organizing a “March 4 Trump” in Vancouver. Last year’s event was a pretext for a wide array of fascists in our region to gather and harass the local community, brandishing weapons, shouting racial epithets, and generally menacing pedestrians and neighbors. The last event was attended by Jeremy Christian, who went on to murder two people on the max in a racially motivated stabbing spree shorty afterwards. These events are not simply “free speech” they have real world consequences which can be literally deadly to vulnerable and brave people in our community.

In the NWTAC description of their event they made several allusions to other marches with similarly transparent marketing, that were also large White Nationalist events like “Unite the Right” in Charlottesville–with the iconic tiki torch, Nuremberg aesthetic– where an innocent women was murdered in cold blood by a fascist.

We call upon antifascists and leftists in the larger PDX and Vancouver area to come together to show that we will not allow our communities to be terrorized by the racist Right. We are calling for a diversity of tactics approach and a united front against this deadly enemy! No Pasaran!
