Vancouver, BC: No Raven Mine Attack On BMO

Last night Bank Of Montreal (BMO) had all their windows smashed. This branch was located on 2515 East Hastings Vancouver in so called British Columbia. BMO was targeted not only because it is a symbol of capitalism but because it banks with Compliance Energy Corporation. They are in the coal industry. They are in the business of destroying the land, the water and the wildlife. After all they are capitalist assholes that don’t care about you or me.

Vancouver, BC: Anti Gentrification Front Strikes Again.

For all too long now yuppies have been peacefully going about their gourmet dinners, buying up their lucky condos and flaunting their wealth by driving around in expensive cars. We thought it would be great to remind them AGF is still here.So last night, for the third time, Famoso Neapolitan Pizzeria was attacked. Several of its windows and one of its cameras were smashed. Famoso thought that putting up their pathetic cameras would stop our attacks. They haven’t and never will. We are also inspired by the picketers of the new yuppie restaurant in the downtown east side called Pidgin.

Vancouver Solidarity Arson

The fire still burns. With the news of the release of two of the three Grand Jury Resistors ( Matt and it warmed our hearts but also filled them with anger. The state has taken parts of their life they will never get back. We also have not forgotten about the third resister (Maddy) and all the other nameless ones.

Author Zig Zag on Idle No More: "In any liberation movement there are internal and external struggles."

We are living in exciting times, with large numbers of people clearly fed up and taking action, no longer content to wait for the right moment or the right ideas or the right leadership to tell them what to do. Whether we think of Occupy, the Arab Spring, or the current Idle No More upsurge, spontaneity and taking a stand seem to be the order of the day. For those of us have lived through less exuberant times, it is a welcome change. That said, this new environment that clearly comes with its own potential pitfalls and weaknesses.

Animal rights extremists throw Molotov cocktail at VPD cruiser

An animal rights extremist group has claimed responsibility for an apparently unsuccessful attack on a Vancouver police cruiser over the weekend.

The Animal Liberation Front issued an anonymous statement Tuesday declaring that members hit an unoccupied cop car with a Molotov cocktail on Saturday night.

The group claimed the cruiser was parked at the home of Megan Halprin, who co-owns the Snowflake fur store in the city’s downtown.

Vancouver, BC: Molotov Attack on Cop Car Claimed by ALF

On a late rainy January 5th night an ALF cell attacked an unoccupied police cruiser via Molotov cocktail. This cruiser was parked there to intimidate or detour any future attacks or protests on Megan Halprin's residence or the Snowflake fur shops she owns. However, the increased police presence will not stop our graceful and successful attacks. Make no mistake, this is war. This is a fur war. This is a class war. The elite and the police are the enemy and will be treated as such.

"We do not know if this has ever occurred before. Last night, Vancouver fur shop Speiser Furs was unknowingly visited by two seperate ALF cells. We learned this morning that individuals went to the front of the store to glue the locks and paste leaflets, while we were at the back of the store using hypodermic needles to shoot a foul substance into the store through cracks in the door. To the other cell, while we have no idea who you are, we hope with our combined efforts these actions will shut the doors of this house of horrors for good.

Vancouver, BC: Locks Glued At Fur, Wool Shops

"Last night, two wicked stores profiting off the torture and mutilation of non-humyn and humyn animals had their locks glued and 'ALF' flyers stuck into their mail slots. The locks were glued with a toothpick and crazy glue, for extra stickage, and the flyers were wiped clean of any and all fingerprints. It is our intention to let these stores know that their very existence is the impetus for our struggle. Capitalism has driven humynity to exploit the earth and her animals, and has created class divisions so fierce that it is very difficult to realize our dreams.
