The vandal or vandals wrote in paint “If abortion isn’t safe, you aren’t either” and “Jane’s Revenge” and broke five of the office’s front windows. Wade, the court case that enshrined federal protection for abortion rights, individuals or groups using the name Jane’s Revenge firebombed an anti-abortion organization in Madison, Wisconsin; tagged four churches in Olympia, Washington; tagged a fake clinic in Reistertown, Maryland; firebombed a fake clinic in Buffalo, NY and hung a banner in Washington, DC. Several other unattributed crisis pregnancy center vandalisms have occurred in the last month.
On their website, Jane’s Revenge calls for militant mass action on the night the Supreme Court releases its verdict overturning federal protection for abortions.
Since the vandalism, CompassCare in Buffalo, NY is reportedly moving to a new, secret location, and Options Pregnancy Clinic in Olympia, WA removed its list of financial backers from its website.
