As part of our ongoing project to open more pathways into anarchy in this territory we have decided to make a local Anarchist Directory – a small zine with information on local, public facing projects and initiatives, organization, spaces and resources as well as a selection of knowledge and advice from all of you.
To that end, we are looking for any anarchist or anarchist adjacent projects, organizations, spaces and resources that would be interested in being listed in a public directory zine to help facilitate access to projects and resources for newer people coming into anarchy.
What we mean by anarchist or anarchist adjacent is:
-Autonomous from any political parties, official unions or NGO’s.
-Does not run or support any elected officials.
-Is anti-hierarchical and organized in a non-hierarchical way.
-Is hostile to the state, capitalism & markets, and all forms of domination.
-Is not a business.
-Does not cooperate with law enforcement in any capacity.
If you’re interested, shoot us an email with the name of your project, a little blurb about what you do, how people can get involved and/or support you and any other information you think is relevant!
We are also interested in short 500-1000 word essays from people to include! Some topics we are interested in are:
-Lesser known local history.
-How did you become an anarchist? / What does it mean for you to be an anarchist?
-What advice do you wish you had when you were just getting involved in the struggle for anarchy?
-What insights or experience in autonomous organizing do you want to share with others?
-In what areas have anarchist dropped the ball that you want to see us do better at/take more seriously?
-What are your wildest dreams for anarchy in this territory?
-Some small and useful “Recipes for Disaster” 😉
-Local plant knowledge.
