The 2026 Camover Summer Games have come to a close. Starting in July, we invited anarchists and other creatures of the night to take on the surveillance state here in Portland, through subterfuge, sabotage, and experimentation.
The call was answered, with two months of inspiring attacks on CCTV, camera towers, and other spytech in all corners of the city. Some actions were accompanied with a claim posted online, but others we discovered were left unsigned, to speak for themselves. We compiled all of the communiques (that we know about) from Camover below:
Camover Communique #1: LVT Camera Tower Smashed!
Mischevious Midnight Jaunt
Four Camera Towers Destroyed
We also saw plenty of combative propaganda against the surveillance state go up around town, including graffiti, wheatpastes, and posters. We linked a few that were posted publicly below:
Bingo, Posters, and more!
These Shits Suck (poster)
Now that the summer games have ended, we are eager to hear your reflections, critiques, experiences, and feedback. We wish to include these in a zine in the near future*. You can email us at: camoverpdx(at)riseup(dot)net. Our public PGP key can be found at the bottom of this post.
A warm thank you to all who participated and contributed to Camover. Stay tuned for more fun in the future 😉
May the attacks on surveillance and control continue and multiply!
*You can also note if you do not wish to have your message included in a zine.
