Late Saturday, October 3rd, the doors, windows, and stained glass in the front entrance to the Melody Event Center were smashed in by an autonomous antifascist. This action was taken in response to the Melody Event Center’s hosting of a fascist and far-right event last fall, including Dinesh D’Souza, Brandon Straka and Andy Ngo in attendance, as well as members of the Proud Boys. Melody refused to cancel the event after immense community pushback, and this attack is a direct consequence of that refusal. As the menace of fascism grows, creeping into the highest positions of power, it is all the more necessary to fight back. No platform for fascists, and no profits for their collaborators!
